Stroke Detection Plus will be screening from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 15 at Cook County Farm Bureau located at 6438 Joliet Road.

Strokes, commonly referred to as the “silent killer,” is the third-leading cause of death in the U.S.

A stroke screening will help to identify blood flow blockages. Stroke Detection Plus, a mobile vascular screening company, uses ultrasound technology to find blockages in the body’s blood vessels that could lead to a stroke.

A complete wellness profile costs $135 while individual tests are $45. Appointments are required and are made by calling (877) 732-8528.
