The mobile medical camp was opened at D Monnaphai village yesterday and around 204 people from the village and its nearby villages including T.Yangnom village,New Leikot village , Khonomphai village,Maoyang village benefitted from it. Free medicines were also provided during the camp.
Today the camp was conducted at M Chahnou village from 8am to 3pm. Around 450 people of the village and its neighbouring villages including Chikkim veng, Haokip veng, Yangoutubi village, News Mongyang village, K Molsang village, Youjang village, Songpiyang village.
During the camp, two X-Ray machine vehicles, one Ultrasound vehicle and another vehicle from the Mobile Medical Unit Chandel were utilised.
The camp was attended by staffs of Special Malaria Unit Moreh hospital, ICTC Moreh hospital, Eye Moreh hospital, Immunization Primary Health Centre Moreh.
Dr S Priyokumar Singh PHC, Moreh, Dr Kh Santikumar Singh PHC, Moreh, Dr T Tomthin Meetei Moreh Hospital, Dr Biksam Moreh hospital, Dr Maipaksana, Romesh ophthalmic asst Moreh hospital and ASHAs also provided their service during the camp.
M Chahnou village chief Yamkholun Haokip and secretary S Yamthang Baite said today’s camp was made possible by ASHAs.
